It all began with Satin Textiles Co., Ltd. —a modest factory located in Phra Pradaeng District. Equipped with just 20 aging machines and a workforce of 50.

To differentiate its textile creations from the rest, the company established dedicated Design and IT departments to develop innovative products and upgrade internal systems, aiming to produce textiles of exceptional quality and distinct visual appeal

As demand grew—both domestically and internationally—the company made the strategic decision to expand its manufacturing facility. This enabled full control of quality throughout the entire production chain, from upstream to downstream

1990

A Commitment to Nature Conservation Begins

Satin Textile took its first serious steps in supporting nature conservation in 1990, following the selfless sacrifice of Mr. Seub Nakhasathien—who gave his life in defense of Thailand’s forests and wildlife at Huai Kha Khaeng.
Since then, the company has continuously supported the work of the Seub Nakhasathien Foundation , and later establishedthe Tropical Forest Foundation to raise funds and provide ongoing assistance—not only to the Seub Foundation, but also to various other conservation organizations to this day.

A Bold New Chapter Begins

In 1995, the company embarked on a larger and more ambitious journey by establishing a new manufacturing facility in Bang Pae District, Ratchaburi Province. Set on 400 rai of land, the site was designed from the ground up as a green factory—with working spaces that promote both the physical and mental well-being of employees, a commitment to avoiding hazardous chemicals, and a fully integrated wastewater treatment system.

The brand made its official debut on September 2, 2002, at the PASAYA Flagship Store located in Gaysorn Shopping Mall.

The name “PASAYA” is derived from the Thai word “แพศยา” (paet-sa-ya)—from the perspective of women’s right, the difference are:

PASAYA Factory Recognized for Sustainable Excellence
In 2014, the PASAYA factory was officially certified with the Green Industry label and received its first Green Label certification for environmentally friendly products. These recognitions have been continuously upheld to this day.

Innovating Sustainability through Upcycling
In 2018, PASAYA began incorporating upcycled materials into its home décor product lines—adding value through creative reuse and promoting long-term sustainability in everyday living.
2021-2023
Advancing Clean Energy and Carbon Accountability
In 2021, PASAYA initiated carbon footprint assessments within its factory operations and launched Phase 1 of its solar energy installation. Phase 2 was completed in 2023. This transition to renewable energy has reduced CO₂ emissions by over 40% compared to conventional electricity usage

Launching 'Mission for the World' Toward Net Zero emission
By switching to electricity from sunlight (Solar energy). Afforestation within the factory area to reach 100 rai (approx.40 acres) within 3 years,including modification of machinery, etc.
2025
Launched in 2022, PASAYA’s “Factory in the Forest” initiative has reached a meaningful milestone in 2025—with 1,600 trees successfully planted across 52 rai of factory grounds.
The afforestation continues to expand, aiming to absorb 300 metric tons of carbon dioxide annually in the years to come.
